Description:
Jeep Grand Cherokees have been around. Seriously. Since 1992, this revolutionary SUV has worn a crown of off-road capability and around-town elegance that few other sport-utility vehicles can rival. A new Rocky Mountain Edition for 2009 adds 17-inch wheels, power sunroof, a Boston Acoustics sound system, “unconnect tunes” 30-gig stereo, heated front seats, 12-volt power outlet, chromed body-side molding and Rocky Mountain badging to the Laredo trim package. You can have your Jeep Grand Cherokee 11 different ways, nine of which are available in both two- and four-wheel drive. Standard engine is a 3.7-liter 210 V6. A 4.7-liter flex-fuel, 305-hp V8 is available on Limited trims and Laredos when adding the X Package. Grand Cherokee Limiteds can also be optioned with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8, which is the standard powertrain on Grand Cherokee Overland models. For ultra performance and style, opt for the Grand Cherokee SRT8, with its 420-hp 6.1-liter Hemi V8, performance suspension, and 20-inch wheels.
