Description:
Jeep’s Commander SUV is a bold, rugged, and affordable on- and off-road performer available in four configurations—4x2 or 4x4, five- or seven-passenger—all powered by a 3.7-liter, 210-horsepower V6. All Commanders get Jeep’s Electronic Stability Program, which includes antilock brakes and traction control, while 4x4 models are built with Jeep’s Quadra-Trac Full-Time four-wheel-drive system, with a single-speed transfer case and four-wheel Brake Traction Control that distributes torque between all four wheels for easy handling over rough and tough road conditions. Tire pressure monitoring, a full-size spare, 17-inch aluminum wheels, tilt steering wheel, air conditioning, front airbags, and supplemental side curtain airbags in all seating rows are but some of the standard features included on all 2009 Jeep Commander models.
