Description:
Jaguar’s all-new coupe-like sedan—the XF—melds modern automotive sophistication with high-tech engineering and performance for a beautifully crafted, premium luxury automobile. Four engine choices power the new XF, all mated to Jaguar’s Sequential Shift 6-speed automatic, beginning with a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 diesel, a 3.0-liter V6, a 4.2-liter V8 and a 4.2-liter supercharged V8. The 2.7-liter reaches 60 mph in 7.7 seconds and the supercharged V8 gets there in a tic over five. Naturally, driving aids include Electronic Brake Assist, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Antilock Brakes, Dynamic Stability Control, Cornering Brake Control and Engine Drag Torque Control. Understeer Logic Control, which decelerates the car and helps restore grip to the front tires when needed, is included for the first time in a Jag. More safety features include a blind spot monitor, rearview camera, and tire-pressure monitoring. Bluetooth compatibility, iPod/MP3 interface capability, a 440-watt optional audio system factor in even more driver and passenger fun.
