Description:
Honda redefines the modern pickup truck with the Ridgeline, combining the refined manners of the Pilot with clever innovations certain to appeal to buyers looking for an every-day vehicle. The Ridgeline, with available RT, RTS, RTL and RTX trim levels, is offered in a single configuration, with four doors, standard AWD, and independent suspension. The five-foot bed is made of steel-reinforced composite with a factory-applied protective surface. With minimal wheel well intrusions, the open bed can readily accommodate an ATV, or 4x8 sheet with the tailgate down. A true convenience, the tailgate can also swing open on a side hinge, allowing access to a large trunk conceal beneath the bed. A smooth, 250-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine, good for 247 lb.-ft. of torque, powers the Ridgeline. While it provides better than V-8 fuel economy, it is no miser. The five-place interior is filled with comfort and convenience considerations. The Ridgeline has a 3/4-ton payload capacity and a 5000-lb towing capacity. It has earned the high government crash test rating for both frontal and side-impact tests, as well as an excellent rollover rating for pickup trucks. Safe, refined, clever, and quite livable, the Ridgeline is a pickup for the majority without heavy-duty work and/or towing requirements.
