Description:

Honda updates its 2009 Civic Hybrid with Vehicle Stability Assist (VS) and an optional leather-trimmed interior that includes heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated side mirrors. Certified by the California Air Resource Board (CARB) as an Advanced-Technology Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (AT-PZEV), the Civic Hybrid achieves its 40/45 city/highway mileage thanks to Honda’s advanced IMA hybrid system, a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and four-cylinder-deactivation that enables the Civic Hybrid to run using only the electric motor in low-speed driving. Total horsepower from a 1.3-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder engine and 15 kilowatt electric motor combination is 110 @ 6,000 rpm.
