Description:
The Ford E-Series has been the best-selling full-sized van since 1980. Today, almost all E-Series go to commercial enterprises. The people-hauling E-Series wagon (formerly known as the Econoline and Club Wagon) is available as the E150, or in E350 Super Duty form. The E-150 wagon offers seating positions for seven or eight, while various versions of the E350 Super Duty wagon can accommodate eight, 11, 12, 14 or 15 people. The E350 Super Duty wagon shares the same 138-inch wheelbase with the E150 wagon but is available in regular and extended-length versions. For 2009, Ford’s popular E-Series van family gets an updated interior to accompany 2008’s freshened exterior. New features include a revised instrument panel, door trim panels, front seats, center floor console and an optional computer system that allows commercial drivers to access the Internet, print invoices, keep track of inventory and tools, and more easily find the right delivery stop. The same system also permits the driver’s home office to monitor his location. Both private owners and commercial drivers will appreciate optional features such as the available rear-view camera and a system that steers them toward the cheapest gas.
