Description:
The venerable Vette expands its lineup, while keeping within reach of the average enthusiast and out of reach of the average competition. Starting with the coupe or convertible with the 6.2-liter (LS3) V8, moving up to the 7.0-liter (LS7) V8 in the Z06 and topping out with the 6.2-liter (LS9) supercharged V8 ZR1, the Corvette continues to impress into the 2009 model year. The ZR1 gets an upgraded 6-speed manual transmission with dual-disc clutch technology, Brembo carbon-ceramic four-wheel disc brakes, 20-inch wheels and ZR1-specific magnetic ride control. The rest of the family gets two new exterior colors, Bluetooth phone capability, and variable steering ratio.
