Description:
Buick's Enclave luxury crossover SUV more than impressed when introduced as a 2008 model. Many believe it to the the best Buick ever, with stellar engineering on par or better than that typically found on high-end marques. This premium Buick offers one powertrain, improved for 2009: GM’s 3.6-liter DOHC V6. Mated to a six-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission, the engine makes 288 hp and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. Available in front- or all-wheel drive, Enclave’s three rows of seating get tri-zone climate control. Heated and cooled driver and front-passenger seats are available this year as stand-alone options, and Bluetooth phone capability is a new, standard feature on all Enclave models. Other standard features include tire pressure monitor, StabiliTrak, traction control, six airbags, power liftgate, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and OnStar. CX models get 18-inch wheels and premium cloth seats. CXL models are equipped with 19-inch chrome wheels and leather. Buick Enclave steps up to the competitive plate and hits a home run.
