Mazda CX9 exterior side front
Continued from Page 2

If there is an accident, you can feel comforted knowing that front passengers get both front and side impact airbags along with head restraints that reduce the likelihood of whiplash, while side curtain airbags protect all three rows in the event of a side impact or rollover.

Trim Packages
So which CX-9 is right for you? Mazda makes it pretty simple here with a choice of three trim levels. Starting at $30,035, the front-wheel-drive Sport is nicely equipped, with 7-passenger seating, standard 3-zone climate control, cruise, power windows, locks and mirrors, a nice 6-speaker CD sound system, tilt-telescopic steering column that powerful 3.5-liter V6, sporty 6-speed automatic transmission and handsome 18-inch alloy wheels. Opt for AWD and you add $1,300.

Those looking for a little more luxury should check out the Touring model, which adds such goodies as leather seats, power front seats, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, and of special interest for those living in colder climes, heated front seats and outside mirrors. At $32,250 for the FWD model, it's also a fine value.

Our Grand Touring model puts the icing on the cake with 20-inch alloy wheels, bright exterior trim, rain-sensing wipers, exterior mirrors with light-up turn indicators, memory driver's seat, keyless entry and start system (just leave your keys in your pocket an purse and get in and drive away), it will spoil you for anything else, with wood interior trim with silver accents and swanky blue interior lighting. Again, Mazda makes this tempting, pricing the FWD model at $34,190.
