The all-new 2005 Chrysler 300C is the four-door sedan to own. You can easily spot one on the road almost everyday. When "AutoWeek Magazine" recently polled its readers about which four-door sedan they most longed for, the clear winner was the all-new Chrysler 300C. The demand is so great at Chrysler dealerships that the wait for one is now more than three months. With its in-your-face American styling, and a 340-hp 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission turning the rear wheels, and priced no higher than $36,000.00 fully loaded, it's easy to understand.

Good as Gold
Performance West Group was lucky to get their hands on one of the early HEMI models and decided to celebrate the great success of the modern version by designing it to look like a 1970 C 300 Hurst Edition. Hurst Performance is a longtime, popular manufacturer of high-performance and racing shifters for manual and automatic transmissions.

For over 30 years, since the original C 300 debuted in 1955, Hurst Edition Chrysler vehicles were painted Gold Pearl. Performance West Group, in this instance, selected House of Kolors white pearl paint accented with Hurst Gold Pearl. Mike Face Custom Paint did a great job applying the white pearl paint, using the Hurst Gold Pearl on the hood, roof and trunk lid. The beautiful Hurst Gold Pearl pinstriping along the beltline was applied by "Lil Louie," known nationally for his expertise in laying down the best stripes on hot rods and other custom vehicles.

If Looks Could Kill
To add a more brilliant look to the 300C's body, B-Cool Billets removed the factory grille and replaced it with a gorgeous, hand-carved billet aluminum grille. Hurst Edition chrome emblems were placed on the upper fenders intersected by the Gold Pearl stripes. Aggressive good looks up front were followed in the rear with dual, round 4-inch billet aluminum end cap resonators by Cone Engineering for a more pronounced growl. Johnson Window Films applied dark black window tint to the side and rear glass giving the 300C a more menacing look.

The 300C was lowered 1.5 inches (40mm) at the front and rear using Eibach lowering springs for a more aggressive stance. Hotchkis Performance installed their custom anti-sway bars to further enhance the handling in turns. What really make this 300C so stunning are the huge 22-inch wheels and tires. Inspired by the magnesium wheels that were popular when the original C 300 was winning races around the country, Oasis Alloy Wheels designed lightweight, modular 2-piece forged 22x10-inch wheels, which are wrapped by Toyo 285/35R22 Proxes S/T high-performance tires.
